Early Voting

There are two ways to vote early in Texas: in person and by mail. Either option will eliminate waiting in long lines on Election Day. Early voting generally begins 17 days before an election and ends 4 days before. If the 17th day before the Election Day happens to land on a weekend, then early voting begins the following Monday.

In Person

Registered voters may vote early at any of the Guadalupe County early voting locations. Unlike early voting by mail, you don’t need to state a reason for voting early in person. Voting locations may vary from election to election and will be posted on the Guadalupe County Elections Office home page as the information becomes available.

Curbside Voting

This service is available to any voter who has difficulty walking or standing for long periods.

By Mail

Voting by mail has been available to elderly voters and voters with physical disabilities in Texas for decades.

Applications for a ballot by mail must be submitted to the Guadalupe County Elections Office no earlier than January 1st of the current year and no later than 11 days before the Election.

You may vote by mail if you are:

  • Going to be away from your county on Election Day and during early voting
  • Sick or disabled
  • 65 years of age or older on Election Day
  • Confined in jail, but eligible to vote

To have an Application for a ballot by mail sent to you, please call 830-303-6363.

Applications for a ballot by mail should be returned to:

Early Voting Clerk
P.O Box 1346
Seguin, Texas 78155

Or emailed to or faxed to 830-303-6373.

The early voting clerk must receive your marked ballot by 7 p.m on Election Day.
