Environmental Health

The duties of the Environmental Health Department are to ensure that septic systems are installed according to regulations as mandated by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality

To review new subdivision plats for compliance with county subdivision rules and to manage the floodplain in compliance with federal, state, and county regulations.

The Code Enforcement is responsible for investigating and processing general nuisance violations, applicable statutory provisions, and specific ordinance violations
