Christmas 2014

For the fourth year in a row, Sheriff Arnold S. Zwicke (Santa) and his employees (Elves), have made the Christmas Season a little brighter for the residents that reside in the area nursing facilities within Guadalupe County. Gift bags with assorted items such as tissues, non-skid socks, lap blankets, combs, and candy canes were presented to these residents by "Santa and his Elves" on December 15th and 16th. The Sheriff dresses up as Santa and he and some of his employees make the rounds to all six of the nursing facilities in the county and personally hand out the gifts, sing Christmas Carols, and spread their Christmas cheer to each resident. The gifts are made possible by the donations of the Sheriff's Office employees along with donations from Wal-Mart of Seguin, the Guadalupe Regional Medical Center of Seguin, and the Crabb Family.
