Tavie Murphy, Tax Assessor-Collector Guadalupe County has been in the tax office 33 years, 13 years in Glasscock County and 20 years in Guadalupe County. Murphy received her state certifications as a registered Tax Assessor-Collector from the Board of Tax Professional Examiners in 1987 and has been recertified in 1992, 1997, 2002 and 2007. Murphy was appointed to the position of Guadalupe County Tax Assessor/Collector in April 1998 and elected to office in November 1998. She is now in her third term.
