To vote in Texas, you must be registered with your county.
There are several ways you can register to vote in Guadalupe County. You can pick up a voter registration application, complete and return it to the Elections Office at least 30 days before the election date.
- Applications are available in both the Seguin Elections Office at 215 S. Milam St., Seguin and the Schertz Elections Office at 1101 Elbel Rd., Schertz.
- Complete a voter registration application online from the Texas Secretary of State's website to be printed, signed and mailed.
- Call the Elections Office at 830-303-6363 and have an application mailed to you.
- You can also find voter registration applications at libraries, government offices or high schools to be filled out, signed and mailed.
Regardless of which application option you choose, it is important to fill out the application completely and legibly.
The application may be mailed to the Elections Office at P.O. Box 1346, Seguin, Texas 78155 and must be postmarked 30 days before an election for you to be eligible to vote in that election.
