The Blanket Sample Ballot contains all the races that pertain to Guadalupe County for the November 8, 2016 election. Your official ballot will only contain the races in which you are eligible to vote, based on the address at which we have you registered. For example, your United States Representative District will be either 15 or 35, and you may or may not have a State Senator race on your ballot, depending on whether you are registered in District 21 or 25. At the local level, no county races are contested, and the City, School and Special Utility District races will appear as appropriate, based on your registration address. If you aren't sure which jurisdictions apply to you please refer to your voter registration certificate or call the Elections Office at 830-303-6363 or 210-945-4199 and we can look you up in our registration system. Once we get closer to the Election, we will have our online sample ballot tool available on our website, and it will allow you to type in your address and access your particular sample ballot, with only the content that applies to you. We understand how important this election is and we are working diligently to provide information and tools as soon as they become available.
If you are interested in becoming a Volunteer Deputy Voter Registrar, you must attend training. Classes will be held on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month beginning at 3 p.m. at the Seguin Elections Office. Please call 830-303-6363 to register to attend.
